The Black Hills - Spearfish Canyon Established in 1997 by the Linn family, Linn Productions has built a strong reputation for excellence. Our local/regional clients include Rapid City Regional Hospital, Black Hills Corporation, Colorado Electric, Riddles Jewelry, Fischer Furniture, Black Hills Regional Eye Institute, Scotchman Industries, South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, United Way, The Lodge at Deadwood, Black Hills Workshop, and Westhills Village.

Besides our many local clients, we have done work for the History Channel, CNN, ABC Discovery News, Discovery, Canadian Discovery, the Travel Channel, PBS, QVC, Oprah, Fuse Films in London, Swiss TV, MTV, National Geographic, Country Music Channel, 20/20, and other national and international companies. Michael Linn recently directed, shot, and edited a National Geographic show, Inside Hubble's Final Mission.

Our most recent feature film, Imprint, was shot in the Black Hills of South Dakota and on Pineridge Reservation. The contemporary supernatural thriller with a Native American cast, including Tonantzin Carmelo and Michael Spears of TNT's Into the West series, has been on the festival circuit and has won several awards, most notably Best Picture, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress at the 2007 American Indian Film Festival in San Francisco. The National Museum of the American Indian has sponsored showings of the movie, most recently in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. It has been well received in Native communities throughout North America.
